DTU is an integration platform that enables the movement of data between various systems and devices based on time or event. This software tool enables a plant-wide infrastructure of omni-directional data transport. DTU interfaces seamlessly with PLCs, LED displays, welders, torque guns, databases, spreadsheets, ERP systems, email servers, pagers, RFID and barcode scanners, HMIs, and many other serial, Ethernet, OLEDB, ODBC and OPC compliant devices and systems.

DTU eliminates the need for custom integration software code, and leads to cost savings via increased efficiency relative to solution development, deployment, and maintenance. DTU is a server application and runs as a Windows service.

The Web Framework web interface software converts raw plant floor data to usable information for analysis and reporting purposes in an asset tree structure. This information is presented via web browser in at various levels of granularity in chart, graph, and grid formats. WebFramework serves as a manufacturing reporting portal as it queries multiple database types simultaneously. WebFramework also allows for manual data entry and the manipulation of database tables through the web browser and Windows CE handheld units. WebFramework is a server application and requires no client side utilities other than the Internet Explorer (IE) browser.
