RSS & YouTube Widgets
To incorporate marketing and communications into the user interface, IGear has developed a number of features and capabilities. Two specific features include out RSS and YouTube widgets.
The RSS widget enables any RSS feed to be streamed though the dashboard within the user interface. This feature allows the OEM to manage an RSS feed and integrate the content with the Pulse user interface for consumption by frequent visitors.
The YouTube widget functions in a similar manner. It allows any YouTube video to be embedded within the user interface alongside valuable production data. As the OEM manages their own YouTube channel, they can easily integrate the videos within a high traffic online venue populated by actual end customers. The YouTube widget is also an excellent tool for sharing training and safety videos that can be associated with specific machines or processes.
